Palatable Perspectives: Exploring Still Life through Food and Drink

Still Life painting this year continues to be along the lines of food and drink!

I find the subject matter offers a refreshing change to my landscapes and seascapes. The `reflective surfaces` observed in glass, tin and liquids, along with wet and shiny food, all allows me something to really get immersed in. The additional stronger colour palette, compared to that seen in most landscapes and seascapes makes for happy days!

I even came up with the idea that for one month I would only paint what I wanted to eat, but became concerned about the potential impact on my waistline! Any suggestions for future subject matter are very welcome!
